The added airbag has given the Nike Pegasus 37 a completely new feel, making it incomparable to its predecessor Pegasus 36. The thick airbag in the forefoot offers a more responsive foot strike. Nike Pegasus 37 is a perfect shoe for fast pace running. It is a shoe that has been tuned to the runner's preferences. For instance, because women prefer a softer ride than men, the women's Zoom Air Bag is just a little less firm.

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Instant Impression

For a long time, the Nike Pegasus model has always been a reliable, neutral shoe. The 37th edition continues with the same reputation. It is similar to its predecessor, but with one significant change. Unlike the Pegasus 36, the 37th edition has the React Foam midsole in place of Cushion ST. It has an air pocket in the midsole, double in size than the Pegasus 36 forefoot air pocket.

Nike improved on an already excellent and all-around Nike Pegasus 36.
With a full-length air unit at the forefoot zone, the Nike Pegasus 37 feels completely different. It offers a smooth, comfortable, snappy, and responsive ride.

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Sole Component

Like the Nike Zoom Fly 3, the Pegasus 37 utilizes the springy and responsive React Foam midsole. The Form React is more responsive than the Cushion ST, making Pegasus 37 more springy, responsive and firmer than the Pegasus 36. It has a perfect balance between firm and soft.

Most runners reported a snappy and exciting ride with constant responsiveness regardless of speed, terrain, or running time. “The cushioning is excellent and not sloppy,” a runner said.

The prominent feature in the midsole is the air Zoom unit. However, unlike in the Pegasus 36, the airbag is not full length but top-loaded in the forefoot zone. In Pegasus 37, the bag is 10mm thick, but in Pegasus 36, it is 4mm.
However, because women preferred softer landing than men, the airbag is women’s Pegasus 37 is designed for 15psi of air and 20psi for men.

The outsole has furrow-like rubber for traction. With perfect grips, the Pegasus 37 performs better on the trail.

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Upper Component

Its upper layer has jacquard mesh with numerous perforations to allow perfect breathability across all the high-heat areas. The wide strap lacing offers a snug fit even when running at a higher speed. With a slim heel collar and tongue, Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 is quite lightweight.

Unfortunately, Nike retained the less cushioned and narrow heel collar, which some runners had reported to be less secure. 

Conclusion

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 is an entirely stylish and perfect fit for fast running on a treadmill. The first trial may appear uncomfortable, but t gets better after a few miles.
