Saucony Kinvara Pro Preview

Saucony is looking forward to celebrating its 25 years of experience in 2023 with new releases especially the Saucony Kinvara Pro. Like other Saucony models, the Kinvara Pro epitomizes the brand’s years of innovations. It reinforces Saucony’s brand as a lightweight, efficient daily training shoemaker.

The Kinvara Pro is a low profile, 4mm heel drop daily training shoe. It has lightweight packaging with a flexible forefoot, thus fitting the daily trainer category. Chad Holt, Product Line Manager at Saucony, highlights the Saucony Kinvara Pro as fast, effortless and lightweight with carbon plate infused within the midsole to provide efficiency with every stride. The inclusion of the carbon plate enhances responsiveness, while the S-Curve midsole shape and flexible forefoot provide a rolling sensation and toe-off.

The upper of Saucony Kinvara Pro has a plush appearance. The material has some stitches and suede overlays in the heel collar for durability. The heel counter is pretty flexible and is more traditional. There is substantial padding in the collar, inner likings, and tongue. Most importantly, the upper compliments the midsole. It is comfortable, fits true to size, and is huggy and secure. It allows runners to experience the unique ride of Saucony Kinvara Pro.

Saucony Kinvara Pro Sole Unit Design

The midsole is the part of the shoe that sticks out. It comprises Saucony’s three midsole foams with the durable PowerRun outsole material that forms the base. Apart from protecting the midsole foam, it also offers significant ground contact, which is critical for quick touch-and-go turnovers.

Besides, POWERRUN has proven to withstand at least 400 miles of running. After the outsole is the PWRUN PB super foam which is bouncy, compliant, and resilient. The Kinvara Pro has the sockliner common in the Saucony Ride, Triumph, and Guide series. The 7mm contoured PowerRun plus sockliner completes the three midsole layers to enhance comfort and security.

The carbon plate is visible from the window at the bottom of the shoe. The teardrop shaped carbon fiber sits above the Powerrun and immediately below the PowerRun Pb, and this unique shape is responsible for creating a rolling sensation in the forefoot. The positioning of the carbon fiber provides enough room for softer heel impact.

Saucony Kinvara Pro Performance and Stabilty

Saucony Kinvara Pro offers the high-level performance required at a competitive level. It will likely deliver in the Boston Marathon and other anticipated 2023 running competitions. Besides, the carbon plate will give all runners the advantages that come with efficiency and boosted distance covered per minute. According to Chad, Saucony Kinvara Pro is likely to outperform Endorphin Pro, which has a narrower heel platform that affects its stability.

The Kinvara Pro has a widened heel for inherent stability. The super cushioning and carbon plate are bound to offer any runner, regardless of pace, an experience of carbon plate super foam shoe. It has an effortless energetic feel across all training styles.

Saucony Kinvara feels comfortable on foot, and the compliant carbon-plated and super-cushioned midsole makes it suitable for recovery and tempo runs, including fartlek training. People who love speed will love it the most. Still, it is perfect for daily exercise due to its efficiency and durability. Saucony says that Kinvara Pro can clock over 700 miles. Even at a later stage, after 300 miles, this shoe will holds up well, and the midsole won't harden.

Despite puttig a lot of effort into making this shoe, the Kinvara Pro will only cost clients $180. What a value for money!
